Dear Colleague,

Here is your opportunity (in the form below) to tell us what you like, dislike and would like to see changed on the site. While the folks at SmartMedia know a thing or two about publishing, editorial and interactivity, we must constantly be attuned to what YOU want and need from this site.

Here are just a few comments (and our responses)which have appeared in our webmasters email box:

WOW!!! This is great! Congratulations on your re-design of the site. There is tons of useful information. I think I'll visit at least once a week if not more often.

I had a couple suggestions, threaded discussion groups and member directory, but then I read your plans for Phase II.... you have it under control. Thanks for all the thought you've obviously put into the site.

Soon to be a frequent visitor, IICS Member from San Diego

Geez...how can I respond to such glowing praise!?! How about thanks? (Sure hope we can continue to live up to your expectations).

We're scurrying about right now to implement threaded discussions and the directory. It WILL happen---not IF but rather WHEN---and we hope to make the WHEN sooner rather than later (did that sound too nebulous? If so, sorry).

I especially enjoy the articles in "The Library". Can you get more? I'd be quite interested in more information about DVD and directions in HTML.

We're working now on articles and white papers for The Library. If you, or anyone you know, has items you feel would be of interest to IICS members, please submit them with copyright clearance.

It is clean, well organized and is a tremendous resource for our association. What's the deal, though, with all the graphics? Could we have a "text only" site?

IICS Member from San Francisco

Organization was our #1 goal. Hmmm....the graphics were reused on multiple pages (to encourage usage of locally "cached" graphics). We tried to be quite judicious about graphics.

As we migrate toward new tools (NetObjects Fusion), we will be offering a text only version of the site.

So if you have a moment, please add your comments below:
