August 21st: Mehren to Hannover (almost)

Grandpa and I headed to Koln (Cologne) to see the cathedral. Koln has been around since before Jesus Christ and was once a Roman settlement. In fact, every time they dig in this city they discover some new artifact!

A bad picture of a huge magnificent gothic cathedral.

Which was, unfortunately, bombed badly during WWII and is still

undergoing reconstruction.

Some statues in stone at the entrance.

The stained glass windows were incredible!
