August 21st: Mehren to Hannover (almost)

The Roman German Museum was loaded with Roman objects. Most were created from 50 B.C. until 100 A.D and uncovered over the years while digging in Koln.

A Roman entrance to the old city.

A wall lined with discovered Roman stones. There were dozens and dozens here.

Some jewelry, coins, earrings and other trinkets uncovered.

Roman chairs. Guess they had to sit too.

The head of a statue. The detail was fantastic but this guy must've been

thinking he was pretty cool when he had this bust created (all he needs are sunglasses).

Roman toys made from stone!
